Log In Play Free. What happens to pvp gear? Bonzenaattori So quick question cos I dont know if anybody asked or even cared. Now that expertise post 5. What happens to current pvp gear? Without expertise the gear practically loses its value, and is the current top tier gear. Or are pve'ers only going to have the joy of decent gear making their transition cakewalk in comparison?
BobandMurphy I'm not certain, but I heard that the expertise is getting converted into mastery. Lundorff Quote: Originally Posted by BobandMurphy. Table of Contents Quick Facts. Please keep the following in mind when posting a comment: Your comment must be in English or it will be removed.

Now trying to balance pve gear with covenant skill plus pvp skill and god knows how item level plays a role on this so you can never have a good pvp alt. If pvp players praise themselves for using skill then item level gear is pointless, why pvp players support item level in their games?
Because thats what it feels like when you see 3v3. Top WoW PvPers just want to gear up and pwn everyone else. Well, for the same reason as we want ilvl in PvE, I guess. Getting a new piece of armor, which makes you feel a tiny bit stronger is awesome and rewarding. Forgot to mention: The problems in PvP right now is mainly because Blizzard have a difficult time properly balancing it. Making any sort of progress pointless then. Who cares? Fun is fun. You still would need your abilities which means you would want to use a max level char.
Reward wise, you still can get gear from pvp vendor, to look cool at least, and mounts or other more meaningful rewards…. Yeah agree. If you ever play ESO pvp is way more skillful.
