Secularism helps eliminate discrimination based on religion, this is said to add democracy by protecting the rights of religious minorities. Atheism is the principle or belief that there is no God. Atheism is contrasted with theism, that believes that at least one deity exists. The first individuals to identify themselves using the word "atheist" lived in the 18th century.
In atheism, there are many arguments which range from philosophy, social and history. There are Rationales, who do not believe in any supernatural deity.
Some atheists have adopted secular philosophies; there is not one ideology or set of behaviors to which all atheists adhere. Many hold that atheism is a more frugal worldview than theism, and therefore the burden of proof lies not on the atheist to disprove the existence of God, but on the theist to provide an answer for existence of God. The biggest differentiation of atheistic rationale is between practical and theoretical atheism. In practical atheism, individuals live as if there are no gods and explain natural phenomena without reference to any deities.
The existence of gods is not rejected, but may be designated unnecessary or useless. The Christian response to this atheistic secularism should be to seek the embodiment of natural law in the civil law. One needs to understand the distinction between Atheism and Secularism in order to not concoct such a nonsensical term. Secularism basically accepts the existence of multiple religions based on a supernatural and favours no specific one.
Atheism, on the other hand, pays no interest to religion or superstition. I, personally, do not know of an Islamic, Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist or any other non-Judaic religious country that has these laws. Not one is governed by Atheists. Atheists are human beings who prefer to concentrate their energy and existence on bettering our understanding and our physical existence and acting to maintain it. The mind of an atheist is a logical, scientific instrument with just that purpose. A fool can learn from his own experiences; the wise learn from the experience of others.
